Mgr. et Mgr. Veronika Zapletalová, Ph.D.
Veronika Zapletalová works at the International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University and also lectures at the Department of International Relations and European Studies in the study programs European Studies, European Governance, Energy Security Studies, and Energy Security and International Relations.
Veronika obtained a doctorate in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in 2016. In the past, she worked at Eurocentrum Brno – Office of the Government of the Czech Republic (2007–2009). In 2009 she participated in a 6-month stay at the University of Ljubljana focused on the policy-making process in the US and EU. After she returned she took part in numerous government and academic projects on energy security and energy policy. Veronika’s research focuses on EU energy and climate policy, liberalization of the EU energy market, and contemporary EU governance.
