Mgr. et Mgr. Petra Mlejnková, Ph.D.
Petra Mlejnková is currently an assistant professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University. Petra earned a dual master’s in Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Social Studies and completed her doctoral studies in Political Science with a dissertation focused on the international cooperation of European neo-Nazis.
In her research, she focuses on political extremism and radicalism in Europe, their prevention, processes of radicalization leading to violent extremism, and processes of deradicalization. Her research interests also include information warfare, influence operations, and system resilience in the context of such influence. Petra is (co)author of several research papers and regularly participates at international political science and security conferences and fora. She is also a member of the Radicalisation Awareness Network and European Expert Network on Terrorism Issues.
