Mgr. Hedvika Koďousková, Ph.D.
Her majors cover energy policies in Asia with special focus on China and societal issues related to energy. Currently, she leads several projects on energy poverty in the Czech Republic and the CEE countries.
Hedvika is an assistant professor at the Department of International Relations and European Studies, FSS, MU and a researcher at the International Institute of Political Science. She is a member of the Centre for Energy Studies. She has teaching practice from home university and from abroad. Hedvika has taken part in number of governmental as well as academic research projects dealing with gas market in general and Russian activities in gas and nuclear markets in particular and has published numerous articles and books on energy security. In 2009 and 2011 she completed study visits in UK (under the UK Energy Research Centre) and China (under the London School of Economics and Political Science/Beijing University). Previously, she worked as a manager of a project focusing on students´ education in energy security co-financed by European Social Fund and the Czech state budget.
