
Mgr. Hedvika Koďousková, Ph.D.
Her majors cover energy & society, energy policies, and energy poverty. She is currently mapping the socio-spatial distribution of energy vulnerability in the Czech Republic as part of the applied research project funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TK03010086).
Hedvika is an assistant professor at the Department of International Relations and European Studies, FSS, MU, and a researcher at the International Institute of Political Science. She is a member of the Centre for Energy Studies. From 2019 to 2022, she contributed to the WG1 "ENGAGER COST Action" research network on energy poverty (CA16232). Recently, she has published articles and a book chapter on energy poverty and energy vulnerability in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Hedvika examined major theories and narratives within the field and applied energy justice, lived experiences, and assemblage perspectives to better understand the issue. Next to her majors, Hedvika is also interested in energy policies in Asia.
