Jirušek Received Fulbright Scholarship
27.9.2021/ Martin Jirušek marked a remarkable success as he was granted a Fulbright scholarship and will be working on his research at the George Washington University in the US capital in the next 10 months.
In his research, Martin focuses on the US foreign and energy policies vis-a-vis Russia. "In the two recent decades, we have seen an increasing tension among in the international arena and energy supplies have been a significant part of it. It is of paramount importance to understand actions of the key players as energy security and international relations are mutually connected vessels with ramifications for a sheer spectrum of state policies", says Martin about the motivation behind his research. He, too, will use this opportunity to gain new experience and stimuli for his future academic work.
