Economic and Political Impacts of the Exploration of Space

Space Policy is a serious science field in the world. It covers international space law, political science, sociology, technology last but not least modern history. Economics of space is restricted only to costing and surely is not the core of Space Policy. Economic thinking and applied economic policy marginalize the role of Space Exploration in economics. Economics of Space is actually poor in economics and economic theories. This book collected the few of economics of Space and added a deeper analysis of the topic. The book may be ordered here.

This book brings in not only the history of American steps in space exploration but mainly their economic dimension. First chapter presents macroeconomic consequences of space exploration. Second chapter on the other hand focuses to a deeper analysis provided by microeconomic tools. Last chapter wants to inspire the reader with a possible shape of economy to come due to present Space Policy.

Yet the book is not addressed only to economists but to all public interested into Space Policy. It is not only the Space Policy in a nutshell but the first book of this topic published in the Czech Republic.
