Political parties and party system in the Czech Republic have been evolved dynamically after 1989. One of the biggest challenges for not only party actors has been represented by European integration process portrayed by the European Union. The term Europeanization has become a part of the contemporary political science reflection on mutual functioning of the European and domestic, national politics.The book can be ordered here.
This book follows existing research in the field of Europeanization and tries to clarify the way of how does the European integration reflect in selected aspects of the activity of relevant political parties in the Czech Republic. Primarily, it has been aimed at shifts in election programs, shape and development of political parties‘ attitude towards European integration process and impact of the European topic on the functioning and dynamics of political parties system in the Czech Republic.
