Europeanization of Interests

Europeanization, the transformation of domestic political systems of the member states of the European Union under the 'pressure' of deepening integration, represents the most dominant form of internationalization for the Czech Republic. The publication 'Europeanization of Interests - Political Parties and Interest Groups in the Czech Republic' is in this respect a unique monography which responds to the need of analyzing this transformation in the Czech conditions. Published in Czech. Available for order here.

Empirical research on interest representation has been set in adequate theoretical and conceptual framework, but also in wider Central European context defined by analyzing political parties and interest groups in Visegrad countries. Monography is aimed to suit the needs of scholarly readers, researchers interested in the topics related to Europeanization process, and key representatives of 'practical' Europeanization and internationalization in the Czech political system.

Publication is a result of project 'Political Actors in the Process of Europeanization and Internationalization of the Czech Republic Political Space' running from 2004 until 2009 which has been funded by Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. Published in Czech language.
