The Book on Communist Law in Czechoslovakia Has Been Presented to Public
The book-release event for the edited volume on Communist Law in Czechoslovakia has taken place on August 26, 2009 in Zemanova kavarna in Brno. The banquet has been attended by well-known Czech lawyers. Pavel Molek, one of the editors of the volume, was giving the opening speech.
Among others, Eliska Wagnerova, the judge and vice-president of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, Otakar Motejl, public deffender of rights and Vojtech Simicek, the judge from the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic presented their speeches. The International Institute of Political Science had been represented by Oldrich Krpec. The book is attracting lots of attention from both scholarly and non-professional public due to its uniqueness and complex treatment of the researched topic.
