IIPS Analysts Attended Young Scholar Conference

Charles University hosted the Young Scholars Conference in the CERGE institute in April 2010. The event was coorganized by the Technical University in Dresden, Wroclaw University and University De Montfort in Leicester. The theme of the conference were new topics of the European security. More particularly, the papers covered topics such as the ESDP and the piracy in the Horn of Africa, European Neighbourhood Policy and frozen conflicts, or security of energy supplies, among others. The analysts of the IIPS MU Petr Ocelík and Jan Osička have discussed the case studies of Qatar and Iran as a potential suppliers of the natural gas to the EU.
