International Symposium on Political Marketing

International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University and Institute for Comparative Political Research would like to invite you to upcoming International Symposium on Political Marketing which will be held at the Faculty of Social Studies of the Masaryk University from October 7 to October 8, 2009.
On the first day of the symposium, first international Ph.D. colloqium in Brno will be organized. Its title is Methodological Disputes and Political Marketing and it will be guided by Robert Ormrod, Ph.D. and professor Stephan Hennenberg, Ph.D. If you want to participate with your work, please contact us at eibl@fss.muni.cz. The topic of the dissertation has to deal with either political marketing or political communication.
Second day of the symposium will be devoted to the conference on political marketing in both methodological and practical perspectives and will also be attended by both scientists and 'practitioners'. Opening speech will be held by Bruce Newman (DePaul University, Chicago), the author of the book Handbook of Political Marketing. Theoretical-methodological problems will be addressed by Phil Harris (The Journal of Public Affairs), Stephen Henneberg and Robert Ormrod.
