Education in Human Rights at the Masaryk University
The members of the Czech Centre for Human Rights and Democratization teach many courses at the Faculty of Social Science of the Masaryk University as well as the Faculty of Law at the same institution. These courses include EVS134 Introduction into Human Rights (undergraduate), EVS413 Constitutional Disputes at the European Court of Justice (graduate), EVS419 Minorities' Protection and Asylum Policy (graduate), EVS141 Key ECJ Judgments and their Importance for the European Integration (undergraduate), MVZ152 International Public Law (undergraduate), MVZ155 War Crimes and Their Prosecution (undergraduate), MVZ429 Judicialization of the International Politics (graduate), EUP404 Europe and Global Politics (M.A.), POL506 Human Rights Studies - all at the Faculty of Social Studies. At the Faculty of Law, these courses include MP714zk Human Rights and Justice (lecture and classes), MVV32K Human Rights in Europe, MVD002K Human Rights in Practice, BEV402Zk European Human Rights Protection Regulation and BT504Zk International Legal Protection of the Human Rights.
