Azerbaijan and Caspian Studies Center
Azerbaijan and Caspian Studies Center (ACSC) is part of the International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University (IIPS). It aims to bring information about increasingly important region to wider public, through cooperation among scholars, students and representatives of cultural, media and public sphere.
ACSC is using rich university experience and high quality scholarly background provided by IIPS. It coordinates a wide spectrum of activities within fields such as history, economy, international politics, Azerbaijani culture, and Caspian region studies. ACSC is also being in contact with numerous academic and social institutions operating directly in the studied region.
Through quarterly issued Bulletin of ACSC, the center analyses both underlying trends and the most important current events in the region.
ACSC helps to make the information accessible for wider public through its publications and also through events such as debates, seminars, discussions with politicians and representatives of the academia.
